NATURAL

Modern Forest

This modern hotel is designed with a unique concept that embraces the generosity and tranquility of nature. Both its interior and exterior are adorned with the use of local natural materials, which helps the hotel to form a harmonious unity with its surroundings. Each room with high ceilings is carefully arranged to capture the outdoor view in the best way possible through large windows, and the interior decoration is enriched with wood, stone, and other natural elements. Every detail is designed to give guests a feeling of being in touch with nature. With eco-friendly technologies and sustainable operational practices, the hotel minimizes its ecological footprint while offering its guests a lodging experience in harmony with nature, along with luxury and comfort. This hotel is an ideal refuge for the modern traveler seeking the peace and beauty of nature.

DESIGN ELEMENTS

Connecting Nature

The most used materials were glass, stone and wood. In order to preserve the permeability in the house, all facades were surrounded by opening glass application. The natural stones offered by the topography were matched with specially manufactured ceramics and marbles, ensuring continuity from the soil. Wooden surfaces were preferred in almost all interior surfaces, and the use of natural materials was carried inside. All materials were used together in a balanced way for a warmer environment of the house.

REFLECTION OF DESIGN

Highlights

A key element for the concept is the reflection pools which serves a very important purpose from the aspect of biophilic design; while we carry nature into interiors, we make material connections with nature, we make an accent on our statement: a timeless biophilic design which is provided by the presence of water. In order to maintain spatial integrity in the common area arcades were used with a modern twist. While the gridal main carriages reach to the ground, metal mesh is preferred as an architectural element to have an interplay between light and shadow.
